The Acratech Gp-Ss Ballhead Is Precision Machined In The Usa. It Is A Rugged And Lightweight Design That Also Has The Ability To Function As A Gimbal Head And It Weighs Only 0.85Lb (.38Kg). The Gp-Ss Is A Smaller Version Of The Gp Ballhead That Is Designed To Be Used On Smaller Tripods. The Gp-Ss Is Also Designed To Be Used Upside Down, Allowing It To Be Used As A Leveling Base For Stitched Panoramic Images. Even When Using Your Tripod On Rocky, Uneven Terrain, The Gp-Ss Ballhead Allows You To Pan Parallel To The Horizon, Eliminating The Need To Carry A Separate Leveling Base To Create Accurate Panoramic Images. The Open Structure Lets Moisture, Dirt And Debris Fall Through Instead Of Being Trapped Inside A Socket.

This Ballhead Includes A Quick Release Clamp With Either A Double Speed Rubber Knob Or A Locking Lever. It Also Includes A Large Bulls Eye Level And Detent Pin.
